I’ve been attending photography workshops at the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo & Safari Park for about three years now. These workshops are a lot of fun, educational and very social!
A couple of years ago I was introduced to macro photography. I love being able to get up close and personal with my subject (although not too up close depending on the subject)!
For my macro photography, I use a Canon 60mm macro lens or attach an extension tube to my 70-400mm zoom lens.
