I am passionate about design and programming and the challenge of turning user-centric designs into real-life applications.  I embrace learning new things and I am not afraid to fill in any skill gaps through self learning.

From the UK to the US

If tea can’t fix it, it’s a serious problem and Hershey is NOT real chocolate.

Whilst working for Oracle Corporation in the UK, I was selected to work on a short-term project at the company’s headquarters and fell in love with the California lifestyle! Shortly after the project ended, an opportunity opened up for me to return to the US on a permanent basic. My parents, who have always been a big inspiration to me, encouraged me to take the opportunity.

Hobbies and Activities

I’m petrified of flying, but love to travel and explore new places. I love to hike through rain forests and jungles (but watch out for snakes)! I also enjoy swimming with the native fish.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was 12, which generally annoyed my teachers at school! Today, my main focus is wild-animals and landscapes. I need to work on my patience!

In September 2016 I decided to get back into karate and signed up at West Coast Martial Arts Academy. I am currently an orange belt and working hard towards my purple belt.

Since November 2015 I have been going to art class at Drawn2Art. I really love chalk pastels, colouring crayons and acrylics but not such a big fan of of water-colours.

Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.
